Gnip Adds Google+ to Growing List of Realtime Social Data Sources
New Gnip Keyword Search Stream to provide customers with public activity, comment, photo, URL, and video data from Google+
BOULDER, COLO., October 27, 2011 — Gnip, Inc. (http://gnip.com), the leading provider of social media data for enterprise applications, today announced that is has added Google+ to its list of realtime social media data sources. With the addition of this new source, Gnip will offer a Keyword Search Stream for Google+ that is built on the newly released Google+ API.

With Google+, Gnip customers will be able to consume public data from one of the fastest growing social media platforms. Using the Keyword Search Stream, customers select relevant terms and phrases that Gnip uses to deliver matching public activity, comment, photo, URL, and video data from Google+. As with all Gnip data streams, the Google+ Keyword Search Stream comes equipped with Gnip's standard metadata enrichments including format normalization, deduplication, and URL unwinding.
