Our next customer success story should be you!
Customer experience management company Attensity uses Gnip as part of its web data collection toolkit. Elad Messing is Senior Director of Corporate Development at Attensity.
Attensity is a customer experience management company that works with 500 of the world's largest companies to listen, analyze, relate and act on customer conversations across channels. Attensity has been enabling organizations to monitor Internet and internal data for years and has recently added Gnip's social media API to their multi-channel data collection arsenal.
Elad Messing, Senior Director of Corporate Development at Attensity, is responsible for the company's social media content arm. "Harvesting the web is an important part of our company's offering. We use this data to enable organizations to analyze and act on their customers' conversations online," Elad says. "Connecting to each of the various social media APIs is something we both do ourselves and outsource to partners. We are glad to be outsourcing some of that social media data collection to Gnip – who offers an easy-to-use API, excellent, reliable content and a team focused on partnering."
“Once we started using Gnip, we could focus on one interface. This freed our development resources to spend more time on our core products and applications...”
Attensity uses strong outsourcers like Gnip for some of this social media data collection. This enables Attensity's team to focus on harvesting less common or customer requested sources, as well as to focus on developing its advanced analysis and response capabilities.
"Once we started using Gnip, we could focus on one interface," Elad explains. "This freed our development resources to spend more time on our core analytical and response features, rather than on the technicalities of each specific social media source's API."
“My technical team has only good things to say about the Gnip team... Having a good data provider is a good solution for us, both practically and economically.”
Leveraging this ability to focus, Gnip has given Attensity a faster route to market. "Because Gnip has been so easy to work with and allows us to add new, critical sources so quickly, we could offer content above and beyond our competition," Elad continued.
In fact, because Attensity already integrates with Gnip's social media API, starting to collect data from a new data source takes them only a few clicks. As Elad notes, "It's an on-off switch to start getting a new data source from Gnip."
And what about Attensity's experience with Gnip's customer support? "My technical team has only good things to say about the Gnip team," Elad says. "They understand the product technicalities, our business, and our needs. Having a good data provider is a good solution for us, both practically and economically."
Thanks, Elad! It's truly our pleasure to work with you.
